Dear All:  Another Spring is upon us, and so is another Spring Seminar.  This year we are pleased to have Umberto Catignani of Orbital Consulting to present at our Spring Seminar.  He will be presenting Advanced Scientific Molding and Mold Instrumentation Techniques.  In mold sensing is simply the future for injection molding; it’s time to take a hard look at Scientific Molding as well as using in mold sensors.

President’s Notes Fall 2011

Dear All

We are happy to begin the 2011-2012 SPE season with a presentation from Martin Neff of Arburg.  As always people are working to continue a long standing tradition of bringing presentations to Nebraska that are both timely and informative.  A special thanks to Martin Richards for his help in obtaining presenters for Nebraska SPE.

Another summer has come and gone, what’s next on your to do list? On mine one item is prominent.  We need to round up presenters for our evening technical programs.  Nebraska SPE is taking this on as a collaborative effort.  You can help too. If you have an idea for an evening program, Please pass it on to any Board member.

This year our meetings have covered Process Controls with Priamus. Six Sigma for Injection Molding with a Six Sigma Black Belt Bret Gengenbach. And now MGC Bio composites with Sam McCord.
